Job Description:
Support Dogs are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and driven individual to join their training department. The role will consist of the assessing and acceptance of applicants. It will also involve overseeing our teams who have graduated, ensuring they receive an annual aftercare, given appropriate advice/ support and extra training if/when required, in conjunction with prepping and supporting teams for their retirement.
The applicant will be required to lone work off site for periods of time, so must show the ability to work alone effectively, prioritise their workload, accordingly, use their own initiative and have excellent time management and communicational skills. They are to demonstrate a real passion for the role, a positive attitude and show flexibility within their work.
Previous experience of training dogs, using positive based methods, and a full clean driving licence are essential criteria for the post. Desirable qualities are experience/recognised teaching qualification, awareness in varying disabilities and a recognised qualification in animal training/behaviour. For further criteria please refer to requirements and criteria on our website. Please note this post requires an enhanced DBS Check and must be submitted prior to starting your employment at Support Dogs. Should you not have an enhanced DBS Check, Support Dogs will apply for one on your behalf but all information to complete a check must be provided ahead of your employment start date.
Occasional overnight duties and from time-to-time weekend work will be required to both fulfil the role and assist in the promotion of the Charity participating in fundraising events/demonstrations.

Job Description:
Support Dogs have an exciting role available within the training department, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and driven individual to join our puppy team. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing several puppies at any one time, provide a structured and tailored training for each puppy to ensure they are progressing as expected. The role will also involve working closely alongside our valued volunteers, ensuring they are receiving excellent support, regular training sessions and are given advice/support as and when required. Other duties within this role may include the recruitment, assessment, and training of new volunteers.
The applicant will be required to work off site for periods of time so they must show the ability to work alone effectively, use their own initiative and have excellent time management and communication skills. Job Description:
Support Dogs are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and driven individual to join their training department. The role will consist of the assessing and acceptance of applicants. It will also involve overseeing our teams who have graduated, ensuring they receive an annual aftercare, given appropriate advice/ support and extra training if/when required, in conjunction with prepping and supporting teams for their retirement.
The applicant will be required to lone work off site for periods of time, so must show the ability to work alone effectively, prioritise their workload, accordingly, use their own initiative and have excellent time management and communicational skills. They are to demonstrate a real passion for the role, a positive attitude and show flexibility within their work.
Previous experience of training dogs, using positive based methods, and a full clean driving licence are essential criteria for the post. Desirable qualities are experience/recognised teaching qualification, awareness in varying disabilities and a recognised qualification in animal training/behaviour. For further criteria please refer to requirements and criteria on our website. Please note this post requires an enhanced DBS Check and must be submitted prior to starting your employment at Support Dogs. Should you not have an enhanced DBS Check, Support Dogs will apply for one on your behalf but all information to complete a check must be provided ahead of your employment start date.
Occasional overnight duties and from time-to-time weekend work will be required to both fulfil the role and assist in the promotion of the Charity participating in fundraising events/demonstrations.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, over three full days. Please note that this role is on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave (17 months).
Job Description:
Support Dogs have an exciting role available within the training department, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and driven individual to join our puppy team. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing several puppies at any one time, provide a structured and tailored training for each puppy to ensure they are progressing as expected. The role will also involve working closely alongside our valued volunteers, ensuring they are receiving excellent support, regular training sessions and are given advice/support as and when required. Other duties within this role may include the recruitment, assessment, and training of new volunteers.
The applicant will be required to work off site for periods of time so they must show the ability to work alone effectively, use their own initiative and have excellent time management and communication skills. Previous and proven experience of working with puppies, within a professional capacity, such as planning and conducting puppy training classes to a group of people is an essential quality for this role. All applicants are to have a full clean driving licence.
Occasional overnight duties and from time-to-time weekend work may be required to assist the Charity by participating in activities such as fundraising events and demonstrations.
