Job Description:

The Administration Assistant – OCE helps people with sight loss to live the life they choose by providing comprehensive administrative support in the OCE, including for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Association Secretary and the Liaison and Special Projects Lead. Including but not limited to the below key responsibilities.

Office based in Burghfield but we can be flexible to allow some remote working if required.

20 hours per week – Ideally over 5 days but can be flexible to see if this can be done over 4 days a week

Candidate requirements

To be able to fulfil this role, the skills and experience we are looking for in a potential candidate include;


• English and Maths qualification to GCSE at grade C or equivalent.
• A demonstrably good knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
• Practical application and maintenance of databases.
• Experience in administration within a Customer Service environment working to SLAs.
• Experience of liaising with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior members of staff and external contacts.
• Previous experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information.


• Previous experience of Personal Assistant / Secretarial duties.
