We were excited to take part in the 2025 Restaurant and Takeaway Expo. It was a great opportunity to connect with the food and drink sector and raise awareness about assistance dogs and the legal responsibilities of businesses to assistance dog partnerships.

During the Expo we met with business owners, chefs, and industry professionals, and shared insights into how to support assistance dog handlers in hospitality settings.

Throughout the two-day event, ADUK’s Ambassadors showcased how assistance dogs make a meaningful difference in their daily life, and gave Expo attendees a chance to meet and learn more about assistance dog partnerships.

Engaging directly with the sector helps us build relationships and understanding, ensuring that more public spaces, restaurants, and takeaway businesses are welcoming and accessible to everyone.

We’re looking forward to continuing these conversations and seeing the positive changes ripple across the industry.
